The Origin of Homecare Services HI

Owner, Krysty Kubojiri, successfully operated a paralegal and process server business for over a decade. However, one day she realized that her passion for her work had diminished, and the stress had become overwhelming. Recognizing the need for a break, she discussed her feelings with her husband, prayed for guidance, and made the decision to temporarily close Legal Services HI.

As she wrapped up her cases, she began to contemplate her next steps. A suggestion from a client led her to explore home health care, and she decided to give it a try.  Krysty quickly fell in love with her new role, finding immense fulfillment in the ability to positively impact people’s lives—far outweighing any previous desires for higher pay or titles. 

 It became clear to her that this was her true calling-serving with heart where it truly mattered. She continued on, worked with various home health care agencies and saw numerous areas for improvement where the industry fell short. Improvement that would greatly benefit both clients and aides. But, being that it wasn’t her agency, her hands were tied. She felt constrained, frustrated, and hopeless.

Years passed until she realized the only way to improve the standard of care and to truly prioritize the client over profit, was to build her own agency. She founded Homecare Services HI with a clear vision: to provide compassionate, intentional care for clients and to create a supportive, valued environment for her staff. Today, that vision is the heartbeat of our ‘lil agency.

“It has taken me a long while to write this review. I believe it’s because we have found a hidden gem and I am afraid to share her with the world. When my MIL moved in with us a year ago, I tried to be prepared as much as possible. One of the key items into dealing with dementia is having respite care. Finding the right fit is also key.

Dementia has so many facets, one being a person who really cares about your loved one. Krysty is that person. But it’s more than that, she keys in on how we as a family function and is able to incorporate our needs as well. I love that we work as a team. She is wonderful at helping us learn about what to expect as this disease progresses and at making my MIL so comfortable. I can say that while my MIL has no idea who I am after being in her life for almost 20 years she knows who Krysty is. With a generous smile and warm heart Krysty greets my MIL like she would a long lost friend. Dare I say she even spoils her thereby spoiling us.
